As a doctoral student at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Ioannis investigates sustainable smart city transitions in the case of higher education institutions. Ioannis also works as a practicing architect and lecturer at TalTech.
He is a founding partner of LÜNK arhitektid, a practice based in Tallinn, with numerous awards in architectural competitions and a concept-forward approach to the discipline. He teaches in the apartment housing and parametric urban design studios of the Academy of Architecture and Urban Studies of TalTech.
Ioannis holds a diploma in civil engineering from the University of Patras and a master degree in architecture from the Brandenburg University of Technology.
On behalf of TalTech, he is currently Principal Investigator in the transnational project ARCH4CHANGE, whose aim is to create a digital and open access climate change curriculum for architectural education.
